So I went to see Spider Man 3 tonight as Tuesdays is cheap and we did the thing we always do when they ask me to choose a seat.



Kiosk Assistant: And where would you like to sit?
Dr A: Middle of the front row, please.
Kiosk Assistant: There?
Dr A: No, that's the middle of the top tier, row J.
Kiosk Assistant: There?
Dr A: No, that's row I
Kiosk Assistant: There?
Dr A: No, that's row B
Kiosk Assistant: Oh, there.
Dr A: Yes, A13 will be fine.
Kiosk Assistant: But that's the middle of the front row.

Aaaaarrrrghhhh - Cinema battleships. It's hateful. It's worse when they don't let you see the screen and you have to guess which seats are available. And then you end up sitting next to someone really irritating anyway.
