Stoker was Irish..must write that essay in which i 'prove' Dracula is a metaphor for Irish Republicanism *g*

One of the characters is obviously Michael Collins, another is ... oh, hold up. Considers dates.

Someone did mention the potato famine in one of the essays, hence I>Dracula is feminist. (Something to do with women doing men's work whilst the men starved.) Doesn't appear to be one of this batch though.

It's the comment on Buffy that terrifies me. Have they not watched this seminal work?

My best conversations with Heidi, the teenager we give a lift to the Operatic Society, revolve around text and sub-text in Buffy. She does text, then I do sub-text and blow her tiny mind. Bwa-ha-ha!

Actually..sometimes I have to do text as well...sigh.

Clearly more interested in seamen than the seminal. I'm not convinced the one who wrote on The Lost Boys and psychoanalysis had seen more than a scene. You'd think they'd mention the potential replacement of your father. Might be, yanno, Oedipal stuff.
