Today was three deadlines day. I hit two of them. That's not bad. It means I edited something like 30,000 words today - or at least entered the corrections from the print out. I was convinced I'd end up with 80,000 words, as it was I only had 75,000. Only 85,000 to go then.

Mind you, I haven't written Thursday's lecture, yet. Nor have I rewatched the film part of it will be about, or got a copy of All the President's Men out from the library.

I have baked scones, and made enough tea for lunch.

Well, you know, in this situation I'm not in control. But the deadlines are as battered into submission as they could be, and I'm working on the mid-November one today. May get that sorted this weekend. Deadline one I'll just try and formulate the things I need to know and don't.
