I was going to post a query because it was one of those things that you couldn't Google, and that wouldn't be on Hal Hall's SFRDB, nor in the Locus Index (which I find answers most things round here).

Only I've forgotten what it was.

If anyone a) knows what it is and b) what the answer was, I'd appreciate it.

Re: ... now what's the question

I believe it's one of the following:

a) what the kids are calling post-cyberpunk these days
b) an alternative term for what I called and prefer to call cyberpunk-flavoured
c) a species of Amazonian tree frog

To be honest I hadn't heard of the term until a reader's report told me that this was what term I should be using. Consider me going grr at this.

Plan A for today was:

a) hack out 500 words for publicity article
b) send off tax form
c) watch Fahrenheit 911 with the kids students
d) do minor rejigging on lecture for Monday
e) do the bloody rewrites on an article

a, b and d achieved. I guess I should quite while I'm ahead.

Re: ... now what's the question

Sounds like a more productive day than mine. Someone handed me a fairly simple bug about 15 minutes ago. In the process of fixing it I've found a rather more intractable one...

I thought the term suggested either
(a)Bold as Love, only with Johnny Rotten
or (b)Steampunk, only with compost heaps.

I think I'd plump for the Amazonian tree frog, personally.

Oh shit. Vocob... vocably... whatever you call the words what you can use is going as well.

Not quite, quit.

Sod it. Turning off. Going to get vid of Full Monty from the library. Going home. Eating. Have a sodding drink or three with alcohol in it.
