Bicycle races are coming your way

About ten days ago, the council was seeding the park next to the wall which has been looking threadbare for a while.

Perfect timing: since then it's rained pretty well every day, and they've held three concerts on it. Today there were stalls and cycling and all kind of tromping on the grass. At least the mud has dried.

Meanwhile there is some kind of cycle race tomorrow, which I ought to go and gawp at, though this probably means hanging around for three hours for about thirty seconds of them going past.

It came to Folkestone years ago. Really, blink and you miss it. Total waste of time.

Similar experience for some kind of Round Britain (Milk?) Race in 97 in Hull. Wait wait wait wait woosh. Oh.

I've just been driven round the ring road - it is full of trucks from French TV for a significant chunk of it.

No one has a moral duty to watch bicycles - unless perhaps a close friend or relative is riding one of them?

I have considered the joys of lycra, but there are webpages that might give a better view of that kind of thing.

Wild tricycles wouldn't drag me ^_^.

But it's a once in a lifetime etc.
