... my early night was slightly delayed by my printing out a couple of Grauniad cryptic crosswords, having discovered such things are possible. It was further delayed by an attempt to solve Saturday's prize crossword, inexplicably jumping to the unstated theme (The Tempest) by spotting PROSPER as shortened PROSPERO, and getting stuck finally on STANDARD ?A?E (Flag for speed - that's how it usually goes (8,4)).
