 I fear I am overcommitted suddenly - a plan to escape the postcode on Monday has bitten the dust, as has the early night. Let's see between now and June I need to:

• Finish an article on pomo I am seriously overdue on
• Watch as many sf films as I can
• Write them all up for work blog.
• Write them all up for this.
• Write up the 1970s ones for Solar Flares
• In particular I need to watch Solaris (1971)
• And Solaris (2002)
• And maybe reread the book
• And Stalker (1979)
• So that might mean reading Roadside Picnic, which is at least short
• Research and write a paper on comedy and swearing
• Research and write  a paper on Solaris (1971) and  Solaris (2002)
• Research and write  a paper on homosexuality and sf in the 1970s
• Research and write  a paper on seventies steampunk
• Research and write  a paper on The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976)
• Think about writing articles on film adaptations

Oh dearie me. I probably have a dozen lectures to polish up, and a pile of marking, too. And maybe compile an index. And at least half a dozen comedy nights. And a day out in Bexhill. A weekend in Leicester
