What kind of database returns no hits on "Philip K Dick" or "Philip Dick"?

It's meant to be about sf.

"Philip K. Dick" does, but there should be more cross references.

That is bad. People just aren't that precise when searching.

As it happens, I was searching the Sony eReader dbase for GUD the other day and it auto-corrected my search to "god". So even if/when we get GUD listed there, nobody will be able to find it....

Especially as there is no consistency on spacing initials or putting full stops after them (HG, H G, H. G. and H.G.). Grrrr.
