Typo du Jour:

Bilbography.

Shame I'm not writing on Tolkien - although I keep typing his name and noting allusions to him.

I have a mere 17950 words left to write, or 1632 a day, by the end of the year. (Don't mention a Jeff Noon article rewrite due early Jan.) I've also gone through the first three parts of The Four Loons, entering the corrections. May finish this on Thursday - and hopefully my new printer will arrive saving a visit to work.

If you are going to deliver a parcel to my backyard, please at least try the doorbell first, because that way the loud thump on the concrete won't make me jump as much.

I'm not sure how you got it over a seven foot fence, but I'm not sure that printers are designed for that kind of treatment.

Presumably I can also pretend it hasn't arrived, as I haven't signed for it.

And I won't hold you responsible if this doesn't actually contain the cable to link it to a computer or a printer cartridge. Though I think I should because I'm in that sort of mood.

Edit: 14.00

So, a walk down to Staples or into town, or shop local and try Cartridge World for a cable? Cartridges apparently installed.

Edit: 14.45

Both available at Cartridge World, though next on the shopping list is a USB Hub... Have persuaded it to print in colour, and only fucked up two of the freebie photo sheets in the process (although EasyPrint shows you the picture landscape, any feul kno you put the paper in portrait. Now it's making short work of parts 2 and 3 of the novel; will avoid The Big Project and key in corrections of part 4. Gosh, it's fast.

So, not suppllying a cable as standard (which the reviews warned me) and not offering it as an option (they offer cartridges and paper) what's that about? Shades of batteries (not supplied). Or the olde days when you had to buy a plugge.
