I took my knee to the doctor today - and my getting there two minutes ahead of the appointment was balanced by having then to wait half an hour.
The good news is my blood pressure is on something like 130/90 - which as he put it, is low for me.
The bad news is my leg is full of blood. Short of being drained at the hospital I took the "active rest" and pills route - I have anti-inflammable and painkillers the size of a plate to take.
It strikes me as being much less painful than it was on Monday.

Hope the rest and pills approach works.

I also want to take a book with me to
A&Ethe hospital. Maybe The Quincunx. If you remember, Bob, it always takes an inordinate amount of time to find a vein to extract blood.
This doctor has a casual approach to BP though. Didn't seem bothered.
Next appointment is on Friday, to see progress. The trick is to balance the active and the rest. Does that include going to see The Good the Bad and the Ugly? Therapy? I can see a certain amount of taxis being called upon.

Yeah, they can never find a vein on me. It'd be a laugh watching them ("Shall we try the left arm this time dearie?") if I wasn't so shit-scared of needles!

The nurse who has hunted both arms (as it were) in vain never laughs when I say I'd make a lousy junky.
