I was trying to buy something the other day, and I realised just before it was too late I was buying twenty copies of the same book - some shrink wrapped salespitch for schools. A bit different from one copy. Yes, useful to know content of boxset when it's books rather than soap. Hold onto individualisation.
I suppose that's why Amazon has listmania, but you have to trust the listers. Wikipedia? No good for boxsets.
Walter Benjamin said the only two certain things in life are date and place of publication. He never used Amazon. All these DVDs from the twenties.
