A snail's pace. That's

Water under the bridge.

Turn over a new leaf. Tall as a tree.
Weed it out. Spaceship earth.
Still water runs dirty and deep.
Up one side and down the other.
There is always next year.
Stubborn as a mule.
Up a tree. Wait and see.

Ugly as a mud fence.
Raking in the dough. When the cows come home.

Water under the bridge.

Spring to mind. Walking on thin ice. Want my place in the sun.
That's a whole new can of worms.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
When it rains it pours. Shit happens.
Rare as walking on water.

Timber!

There may be snow on the roof, but there's fire in the belly. When the cows come home.

What on earth? Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
Walking on water. The shoes on the other foot now.
Sow much, reap much; sow little, reap little.
Walking on water.
Thick as a brick.

You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip. Two peas in a pod.
Sitting on the fence. Up a tree.
Spill the beans. Shake like a leaf.
Rough as a cob.
