Patrick O'Brian also wrote a book called "The Rendezvous and Other Stories". Not relevant or interesting, I imagine, but it's what I thought, reading this post :).

Have fun--I've only read "Rebecca", which was okay, but I heard "Jamaica Inn" serialised on BBC7, and thought it was pretty much tosh.
