I'm well behind in updating my gallery/exhibition guide - but I quite like the Nicholson/Wallis combo at Compton Verney (which is leaning toward the naive landscape side of Nicholson rather than the abstracted coloured squares which I prefer) with sailor's art alongside (and a shed with an camera obscura) and the twentiethy-century display at Rugby art gallery and museum is splendid - what a municipal collection should be (but why is video art so shit?)
More to the point, come July 9th, Pallant House Gallery: Frieda Kahlo and Diego Rivera - http://www.pallant.org.uk/whats-on/exhibitions/forthcoming/main-galleries/frida-kahlo-diego-rivera

I guess I know where I am on 16th July then - unless I do an overnighter
