I'm really going to have to do something about the hours I keep. Last night I kicked butt at golf on the old Play Station (although this time N beat me at Speed Golf, so I can imagine that may now get played more often than when I was beating him. And I won't let him forget his septupal bogey in a hurry). After I went to the pub for an hour or so, planning to stay on the orange and soda, but unfortuantely the gas has gone so no soda. After a pint of orange and water (not pleasant) I went back on the beer for a final pint. Or what was planned to be final. After M closed the Doves, we went in search of an open pub, wanting to avoid the Tales as that's always Plan B after the Bell&, but everywhere else was shut. The Tales was heaving, and boiling hot as always, and I very nearly walked out. I also seemed to be invisible at the bar. We stayed there until the death, although C, who'd joined us, seemed reluctant for us to leave and so we hit 1.30.
I did wake at about 7.45, and got up to pee, then went back to bed, and kept sticking the clock radio on and dozing until I finally got up at 11.30. I worked myself up to a bath, but I fancy going back to bed. But I need to go to the cinema this evening, and it's an early evening show, so I need to head out in an hour if I'm to catch the bank and a bus.
However, I'm sure come this evening I'll be wide awake and an early night will turn into insomnia and so the cycle continues.
