I was at least in bed by 1.30am, which is a step forward. It was one of those never quite productive days, and games of chess delayed my escape home to get writing the 3000 words I should do on a daily basis now. I got a large chunk of the introduction done, and this is part of the word count. I still fear darlings need to be murdered - I'm not sure if the index is in the word count, but the bibliography is. I guess I need to chase the remaining contributions up.
