I was delayed on the way to work today by a conversation with my newsagent about Baruch de Spinoza. There is no reason with newsagents shouldn't be philosophical, of course, and there is usually classical music or serious talk radio being played in there, but still...

... I don't recall talking to anyone about Baruch de Spinoza.
